The 21st International Conference, SATCOMRUS 2016, will be held on October 6 in Moscow at Hotel InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya (22, Tverskaya Street).
The conference organizer, the Russian Satellite Communications Company, hereby invites Russian and international members of the industry-wide community to the traditional annual meeting to review current issues and discuss prospects for satellite communications and broadcasting in Russia.
In January 2016, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) declared the Internet of Things (IoT) to be the main focus of global human development, thereby officially recognizing as completed the transition of the world economies to the next technological phase, Industry 4.0.
With due regard for the specifics of today's economy and the major world trends, the speakers and participants in the SATCOMRUS 2016 conference will share their views of the place and significance of satellite communications in shaping new economic realities and approaches to controlling production processes, logistics, and man / machine interaction.
The main theme of our conference in 2016 is ‘The development of satellite communications in Russia and their prospects for the Industry 4.0 and IoT’.
The Conference program includes three sessions:
• The current status and prospects of developing domestic satellite infrastructure in the context of the new economic environment.
• Industrial Internet. Is the domestic satellite connectivity ready to follow the latest international trends?
• Creating seamless telecommunication environment as the operator’s main task.
